As a preface, I have a really hard time finding dressy pants that look right on me. I have a pear shaped figure and many pants make me look funky. When I opened these and looked at them, I didn't expect them to fit me well. I was wrong! They are SO flattering! There are many things I love about these pants: - The fabric (polyester) is super comfortable, and with 3% spandex the stretch is just right! I can bend and move without feeling crunched. YAY! - They have a sharp and professional look; the black color is truly jet black and would pair very well with a suit jacket. I actually plan to wear them to my next interview this month. - While they can totally rock a professional look, these can also be worn casually. I probably wouldn't pair these with a t-shirt, but I would definitely wear just a casual top with it for general daily use. - There is a pleat down the front but it's sewn in (rather than being a fold), so it's not obnoxious like some pleating can be. - The elastic waistband is so awesome and forgiving, yet it still has belt loops. It's rare to find stretchy pants that have a belt loop! This helps with it being so versatile (casual or professional). - The pockets are pretty deep, but not visible, which I find to be a problem with some pants since I have wider hips. I don't need any extra fabric padding me around there. These don't at all. - I feel they are true to size, so I would recommend ordering your regular size. I have these in black and liked them enough to buy a second pair in blue. Unfortunately the blue reflects light in some kind of way that the black doesn't, and makes the pockets hyper visible. I wish these didn't have huge pocket outlines on them because the short size are the perfect length for me (5'1) and they are very comfy. Read more

These pants are very nice for lounge pants. I wouldn't use them for work since the material doesn't seem fancy enough for slacks, but I suppose it depends on your job. The pant inseam seems right and the waist is good. Definitely petite, which is awesome. The flowy material is fun and feels good. I forgot that I wasn't wearing pajamas and just went to bed in them.
