Even though I floss daily, these picks would still manage to get more residue from between my teeth AFTER flossing. So now I just do both. The brushes will not fit between most teeth, but the back molars is where my trouble spots are, & this is where they are so outstandingly helpful. I will also add, that you can bend these to get into tight spots, and they seem to screw-in so you can tighten if they become loose, which mine have, but it's very easily fixable, which I love.
