I see some reviewers saying this support does nothing for them, but that is not my experience. I already have tendonitis in my wrists and elbows, so was not surprised to feel it when I took up mountain biking. After feeling the first signs of pain, I looked for compression sleeves to help. The relief from this shoulder sleeve was clear and immediate for me, even sitting in my living room. This product needs to be really tight in just the right places to work properly, and because of this is difficult to put on and is a bit tight in the armpits. I think that the effectiveness behind this support can vary as much as the human body does; we're all shaped so differently, so your mileage may vary. Maybe others didn't/couldn't get the correct size, but I have to say that this provides noticeable shoulder support during mountain bike rides that I can still feel at the end of the day.
