Great statement frame!
This is a unique Photo Frame thus best used for a unique situation. Why? It is large in terms of housing a 4 X 6 Photo ... 10 1/2" wide, 6 1/2" tall and 6" deep. That said, it is outstanding. Considering it is only a Photo Frame and not a chair for itsy bitsy people, I find it plenty sturdy. The one I purchased for a gift sits perfectly. It is very attractive, nautical. Added shells from the beach.
My son proposed on the beach at sunset. The pictures are great. I glued shells we found onto the bottom and a few at the top of the picture frame and one special one on the front of the seat. Wrote their names and the date at the top. Unique and special gift. It is made sturdily of light weight wood and is a bit fragile but plenty sturdy to arrive USPS unscathed and to be handled by children. I am happy with it and will buy it again if we have another life event at the beach. Read more
Not Weighted Evenly
This is a clever piece. It is perfect for all beach/lake related memories and pictures. It is very esthetically pleasing, with a weathered look to it. However, with the weight of the back of the chair and whatever picture you put in this frame, it has a tendency to fall over backward. I figure if there are any crafters and tackle boxes nearby, one could hot glue some fishing weights under the front edge of the chair to offset the uneven weight distribution in the piece. All that said, it's a super cool frame. A solid four stars. If the manufacturer ever fixes the weight distribution, it will be a five star product. Read more
