This sweater is high quality, soft, and sized correctly. I purchased a small in the slate blue this time. I also have a black and white one. I am 5'3, 115 lbs and this fits great over a short sleeve. If you are planning something heavier or long sleeve under it, I recommend going up a size. Product was received in a short amount of time and was as described falling to about mid hip. This is a nice light weight sweater. I purchased it to travel with and it did not disappoint. It didn't wrinkle and looks very nice. The material is not quite as nice as some, but it served my purpose well. Living in the South, it gets very hot, but a sweater like this works well in a very cold restaurant and entertainment venue. I think it is important to check out the review according to color. Mine is pink. Because when clothing is made overseas, certain factories get certain fabric and the cutters may have a pattern that is a couple of millimeters difference--thus check the colors, and consider what you will be wearing it with. I normally get a LG (5'2", 153 lbs.) in things that I don't want to bind, so that is what I did. But it was just a tad big in the shoulders and since it doesn't need to close in the front, I sent this to my sister, who has a larger chest, and reordered a MED. Mostly because the pieces with which I will wear this are either sleeveless or lightweight. The quality is top notch, and the color is beautiful vivid pink but has the slightest bit of coral, so it can be worn with either shade. Had it on the other night for dinner and wore it with a sleeveless black blouse that had light pink, fuchsia and coral flowers and it was a knockout. It has enough substance to be worn year round.
