The dress was a lovely, soft, comfortable but buddy fitted dress. I selected a lovely purple color that was perfect for my purple party at my 60th birthday. The color was spot on the dress just wasn’t best for my occasion. But I would re-order it for another occasion in the future as it would be great for many different settings. It has a nice smooth fit that gives you a shapely figure without being tight or overly snug. I rarely write reviews, and I usually have low expectations when ordering clothes on Amazon, but I was blown away at the quality of this sweater dress -- I love this so much that I will almost certainly order a second one in a different color! I ordered the dark oIive green in a large (for reference I am 5' 3", 160 lb. hourglass/athletic build and usually a size 10) and I maybe could have gotten away with a medium. This dress hugged my curves in all the right places and the material is thick and a bit fuzzy, which allowed the sleeves to hold their shape, and was flattering on me. The bishop sleeves and mock neck were just right for me -- as a shorter person, styles like this can sometimes be overpowering or out of proportion. The length was great and I felt confident wearing this over opaque tights with some riding boots. My only critiques are that the color is more heathered and lighter than in the photo and, although it came packaged securely, it did have some heavy creases that needed pressing to come out. This dress is very soft and well made. It's comfortable and fits true to size (I am XXL) and the color was what I expected. It is a fitted dress so be sure you are aware of your shape before you buy it but with my shapewear it hugged in just the right way! It kept my warm in CO so I thought the thickness was just right, thin enough not to be too hot but the wind won't cut through you. Read more
