Realistically, I would give this more of a 3.5 stars. I personally think that these two pieces work better apart than as a set. First off, the set is meant to be baggy and flowy/summery, and it achieves that, but there seems to be a little bit too much fabric. I ordered a medium, since the set is 100% cotton, so it will shrink in the dryer a bit, but I don’t think enough to make it not look like I’m wearing a circus tent. The pants are definitely more spacious than the top. I may wear the top with a pair of white jeans and the pants with a fitted white tee, to kind of counteract the really baggy look. I do enjoy that it’s 100% cotton, but I would keep that in mind when you are figuring out what size you want to order, or be careful about your washing technique. The colors on the set are very beachy and calm. It’s a beautiful pale blue. This would be great for a dinner by the water. Overall it’s a good value for a true cotton set—there are so many knockoffs of this type of look with cheaper materials. It’s very comfortable with no scratchiness, and the stitching is all well done. The sizing didn’t work great for me, but I’m also very thin, so a lot of things look big on me. I will still try and style these the best I can, and hope it all comes together. You may want to be mindful of your undergarments in the sun, as a cotton piece this will naturally be pretty see through. Initially I was pleased with my purchase BUT after washing the outfit once I wasn’t happy anymore. I was getting cloths ready for vacation and washed my new outfit before wearing it. The seam in the back of the top was falling apart and couldn’t be fixed by sewing it. I will never buy that brand again. Read more

This set is really comfortable and I like that it's cotton. I always wash clothes before I wear them and it washed well. I would recommend sizing up if you want it to fit loosely and it is cotton so it may shrink a little. I usually wear a medium so that's what I ordered but it fits more like a small. I'm going to wear it as pajamas so I wish it was a little looser but it's still comfortable. I think it's really cute and I like the color and pattern. I ordered the black striped set. It's priced at $32.99 right now and I feel like that's a little expensive for what you're getting but it is a nice comfortable and breathable set. Read more
