Did not rate for longevity as I’ve only had these for a couple of weeks. I use these markers most days for a white-background dry erase calendar. I have used Expo markers many times and while they do eventually dry out, in my experience they write well for a long time. I store mine tip down, which I like to think helps. The colors of these markers are bright and erase well using a regular dry eraser. (Some colors erase better than others.) The markers have a bullet point and write with a thin line, maybe about a sixteenth of an inch wide depending how you hold it and how much pressure you apply. These markers are labeled as low odor, and for once it’s actually true, whether because of the thinner tip or a different ink formula. Read more

Won't stain white board! I found this one out the hard way after using a dry erase marker by Melissa & Doug that left light blue stains on a brand new white board. These markers aren't as vibrant as the thick angled-tip ones but the Expo brand is definitely the highest quality I've found. We've even accidentally left the caps off overnight and in the morning the markers were still good to go. The fine tips are also great for my son, (as time goes by they seem to become a little less fine, which we like, and a little more vibrant as well for some reason). We practice writing on the whiteboard with them almost daily and the fact that there are so many colors helps him get excited about making "rainbow words." For us, this is a great product, won't deduct a star for the few markers that seem to be lighter than the cap would indicate. Read more

These markers are fantastic for two purposes. The first is they really work well with marker boards. They have the feel of a thin pen but they write with the boldness and veracity of a lying politician. The second thing they are great at is dissuading my students from sniffing the markers to get high. One look at the low odor logo on the box and the students are turned off that the product will not get them as high as the previous versions. Unfortunately due to the market economy in my classroom the students are working diligently to device a low cost product to achieve a satisfactory high by making a device that will infuse the solution directly to the brain. These markers are average. I like that they are thin so my girl feels like she is gripping a pen when she works on the white board. I also like mixed in this set is purple and pink as they are less common colors to find. The low oder is a huge plus. They are for kids. I do not want them breathing in chemicals. That is really why I gave them a four star. I am however not that fond of the lasting power. I have had off brand colors last longer then these. They last a few months of moderate use. But when they are working, they do give a nice bold color. Little to no breaking in the lines. Overall I am happy with these markers. They do not stain the white board and the colors are perfect for my needs. Read more

I’ve bought Expo before but in the larger chisel point style. I needed something with a fine tip for our homeschool magnetic dry erase calendar. This works perfectly and the colors are well saturated. I haven’t had any issues as of yet with removal. I’ve only used them for a few days so I can’t speak to longevity. I would buy them again provided they last as long as the other Expo markers. Read more

Not too much to say here as for the price you really can't complain - they are a great value and I had no issues like others have listed around markers showing up dried out or being too light. I was concerned based on the other reviews but am glad I purchased them. I like these more than the "normal" size markers I bought the week before as you can fit more on your whiteboard with the fine tip. Read more
