I purchased these to write on my new dry-erase wall calendar, as my other pens are the wider tipped ones. These work perfectly having a finer tip, so it allows me to write smaller in the relatively tiny spaces on the calendar. I've never had an issue with EXPO pens or products, and no surprises here as I don't have anything negative to say now either :) I love my new pens, will put them to good use throughout the year as they help me keep myself organized, and on time to appointments and so on. These markers are just what I need, but what's the deal with green? The kids and I use these markers with an Expo slate. The point is like a thick sharpie, so we're not getting the finest marks, but I think it's better on the smaller surface than the chisel tips. The black, blue, and red write well, are decently saturated colors, and erase incredibly easy. My biggest problem is with green. The green color isn't as dark as the others. It goes on a little dry compared to the other colors. And it doesn't erase with our Expo eraser. I have to grab a paper towel or a tissue and put some elbow grease into the removal. None of us ever want to use green! I purchased a second pack, just to make sure I didn't have a defective green the first time, and ran into the same problem. I don't find the smell of the markers to be overwhelming or unpleasant. Our markers only lasted a few months before they needed replacing, but the kids really do use them a lot! Read more

I'm a whiteboard junkie, I use them to brainstorm before putting pen to paper. I white board myself silly, take a picture and then can print it out so I can erase the board and start again I purchased a large whiteboard sticker the size of my desk so I don't have to constantly get up (google think board) Anyway, I use my board a lot and my one pen dried out so ordered this one and a pack of ultra fine. I definitely like these better, they have a better feel when writing than the ultra fine. There's something about writing on a whiteboard with an ultra fine that just isn't the same. Based on what I experienced in the workplace, I decided that for home the smart thing to do is use Expo brand markers with Expo brand boards. Some other brands are just awful even with using their own markers with their own boards, very hard to erase, don't know how they stay in business. The Expo brands erase great, what you write looks the way it should on the board, doubt I'd ever find a better brand. Pricing here is fair. Read more
