I love to play cards! If I am playing a game where I have to hold a lot of cards, my hand starts to cramp. I am constantly closing the cards and fanning them out again to give my hand a rest but not anymore! These holders are fantastic! One board game we play the cards are horizontal. It worked great. The cards fit in the slots vertically and horizontally. There is no assembly. They are well made and very sturdy. The stands are very attractive. This is a very stable card holder that accommodates plenty of cards. It has a felt base that prevents scratching your table. Other players can't see your cards and the stand doesn't tip over like the fan-shaped plastic ones we've used. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because "Exqline" is stamped so prominently across the side facing the other players. I didn't notice this when I ordered it, but I went back and checked today and you can see it in one of the photos accompanying the description. Why would they think we're buying this to advertise for them? Better left blank or stamp with spades, diamonds, clubs and hearts. There doesn't appear to be much of a finish; feels like raw wood. I'm tempted to refinish to see if I can irradiate their name. Ranting aside, it's the best card holder I've found. Read more
