As a beginner into my fitness journey, this yoga mat has been a HUGE help for me. The pictures of the poses are well sized and easy to decipher. The white on black definitely makes it easy to see. Great size for in home/self teaching yoga. I absolutely love the Strengthening side. This has helped me prepare for the Yoga side. The mat is not slippery and is easy to roll up and store, when not in use. The thickness is enough to keep me from hurting, when on my knees. I highly recommend this mat! Read more

I am a yoga teacher and I was looking for a larger yoga mat to use in my home studio. While searching, I came across this item. I liked the fact that the yoga and stretching poses were clearly pictured and the mat is fairly large. It is not a mat that you want to carry around with you even though it comes with a carrying bag. Rather, it is perfect for a home yoga studio or workout room. It's easy to clean and fairly "grippy" which is a requirement for yoga mats. The mat smells bad , been a week or so and still stinky. I have wiped it down several times with just a damp rag non lint kind and it starts off no slip but as soon as you start to sweat it gets slippery . I almost returned it but the fact that it has the yoga moves and good stretches printed on it I decided to keep it even tho it makes it a little difficult to perform my work outs on with my hands and feet slipping. If I was to describe this mat on a sales description it wouldn’t say sticky it would say a little better than the floor and it’s got moves on it. /// 1 year review, the mat has broken in nicely and got sticky after all, and the smells go away pretty quickly so after a year i have to add two more stars , it’s a good mat. The box it came in was ridiculously large but we had a good laugh and now it’s my cat’s new castle. Aside from that, I love this thing! Me and my teen have trouble motivating ourselves to do yoga or stretching, and part of that is not knowing what to do. This mat gives us some poses to try (and I’ve done a yoga class before but a long time ago) and it allows us to pick and choose what we feel like doing without needing to pull up a video necessarily. I feel the grip is good, it’s a good thickness, and the large size of the mat is really helpful. Not really something that I would consider easily portable, but it does roll up and come with a storage bag so it’s possible! Read more
