This extra-large travel tote bag turned out to be a really well-made bag. The material feels durable and the water-resistant Oxford cloth gives it a sturdy structure while still staying lightweight. The quality of this tote deserves a five star rating. However, the description of it as "Extra Large" is completely erroneous. I think of an extra large travel bag as something you could fit a German Shepherd in. This bag would be able to fit a Pomeranian. The dimensions in the description are inaccurate and erratic. The extended zipper length on a purse or tote bag that is longer than the bag opening itself is commonly referred to as a "bridge top zipper" is 22 inches when stretched out. The bag itself was measured by me to be 17 inches at the base. The product description section states it is 14 inches and has a stated capacity of 1 liter. Despite the wacky size descriptions, this is a wonderful quality bag. The fabric is more like a finely woven flour sack cloth than oxford, but still has a fine feel and texture. The stitching is medium. It has a trolly strap on one side and two vertical straps on the other side for an umbrella or rolled up jacket. The spring clips for the shoulder strap attachment or zipper tape straps (but not both at the same time) are handy and unique. So all in all a five star bag, two star description. Read more
