Using this chrome top shell for a custom PS5 controller I'm building. It's so shiny! It reminds me of a certain fictional scifi character from a popular movie. Fit up has been super easy with parts from the same manufacturer. The finish is smooth and the edges has no flaws. The package included a matching screen/pad, but I'm replacing that with a similar red chrome purchased separately. I love that the package include a screwdriver with magnetic tip, a plastic separator tool, and spare screws. The buttons that I'm installing work perfect with this top shell, so I couldn't be happier. Read more

While it is exactly as advertised, I'm more mad at the fact I didn't notice that this is only the front and not the back too. My 10 year old autistic son was able install this on his own. Read more

It was not easy for me to put it together but we watched the video and it worked. The most challenging part was they said we can take one piece of from blowing hot air from a hair dryer. Not true in my experience. I needed a heat gun and I melted the original piece until the circuit board finally came free. It was a bit tough but it worked. Oh, and use your original screws whenever possible. I tried to use one. Of the black screws provided and now it’s like so I have to open it again and do the process over…kind of a pain… Read more

I don't know if I got a bad one or what, but the fitment was very poor and caused the touch pad button to be constantly depressed. Because that button was always on I couldn't use the control without removing this shell and switching to another. I haven't had the same issue with any other shells, front or back. Read more
