Installation was straightforward—I just followed the video instructions and had it installed in no time. The biggest difference is in the button response. Instead of the usual soft, mushy press, the face buttons now have a crisp, satisfying mouse-like click that feels much more responsive. It makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced games where quick inputs matter. Fantastic DS5 mod if you have patience. Initial install can be very finicky since the membrane has to be stretched over the stock rubber pads. It's kind of like putting on a bed sheet; every side has to fit on perfectly or they'll all keep popping off. Once you get everything on right though you never have to mess with it again. The click and travel here is perfect. Not too far not too hard. It doesn't make any of the buttons stick out taller. I just love the feel on the DS5 buttons, and I would add it to any DS5 controller I own. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Don’t let the title fool you. It’s no cake walk. Really nice quality of life (basically) upgrade that takes no soldering. Just patience and attention to detail. Great feel/response. If you take your time, it’s like a solid hour of a task. Read more

Had a few issues that the seller helped with. My board was different from the other videos that showed install. I purchased two and installed only one. It has definitely changed the game play in a positive way. Reason I haven’t installed the second kit is waiting for the battery to finally go bad and fix it and upgrade at the same time. Read more

As stated, if you're using any PS5 BDM-40 board. Don't try the swap as the sections for the triggers to connect to the board are not present. Being a new person getting into modding, seeing this pop up as one of the first board to use under BDM-30, BDM-40, BDM-50. I was pretty ecstatic about getting it, so I bought the board, and tried my hand using their guide. But the main issue arose, when I realise that the triggers are connected differently after BDM-30 as they were separate sections for the triggers to connect to the board. After BDM-40, the slim board is connected together from buttons to triggers. Making it completely false advertised, and a mistake on the description of this item. I will be returning this product, and will have to buy the proper part now. Read more

Great product! I was a little wary about using these. I wasn't sure I could trust myself to do it, or if it would even be worth it. The linked video was soooo helpful though and installing these was way easier than expected. The clicking is super satisfying and crisp. definitely worth the time and money! Read more
