Love how it looks and it's good quality. The install was more involved than I thought it would be. I recommend going to their website and watching the install video first to make sure you're comfortable with it. I just went slow and followed step by step and everything is still working fine. Be extra careful with the ribbons. I used tweezers for these and it helped a lot with carefully unhooking them. I bought this marble shell and rubber back for my wife’s controller. It looks beautiful and feels really nice in the hands, but the standard face plate that the PS5 controller comes with does not fit well with the two kits. It leaves a space in the front and doesn’t allow it to fully clip down and have a seamless look. The whole process of taking apart the controller and putting it back together wasn’t difficult in the slightest, specially with the help of the guides that are in their YouTube channel. I was able to take it apart and put everything back together within 45 minutes and it thankfully it still fully works. My biggest issue, like I mentioned before is that the faceplate doesn’t line up with the shell and the back. I had purchased a wood design faceplate from the earlier in the year for my other controller and I thought of putting it on this new one to see if the issue was still there. To my surprise, it was the seamless look that I wanted, but it doesn’t have the aesthetic that she wanted, the wood and marble don’t really complement each other too well. Pros: - The products themselves were 5/5, they look how better in person than the pictures and feel really nice in the hands. - The installation process wasn’t too hard, their guides made it relatively easy to do - they included everything in the box that is needed for the installation, minus the blow drier (or heat gun), obviously, needed to take apart the adhesive from the touchpad. If you don’t have a blow drier or heat gun maybe you will have to leave the touchpad that the controller comes with. Cons: - The standard faceplate that the PS5 controller comes with does not fit perfectly with the shell and rubber back. It leaves gaps and doesn’t make it seamless. - A new faceplate would have to be bought to make it look perfect. And for that reason, that the customer would have to buy a completely different product to make this look perfect, I am giving this 3/5 stars. Read more

Don't be scared, just do it. No seriously, the shell is high quality and looks better in person. There are install videos that show exactly how to take the controller apart and install the shell. Edit - I just installed a pink front shell among other mods for my daughter. Do not forget to remove all of the stock components from the original PS5 front shell. There was a rubber grommet thingy where the buttons go and I missed this on my first install. I had to take apart my modded controller to install the grommet. If you don't install this grommet, your buttons will badly rattle! Oh, you also do not need to use a heat gun to remove the circuit board that is glued to the touch-pad. If you carefully use the plastic prying tool, you can pry the circuit board off of the original controller. It just takes some patience. I have done this method on two controllers now, but it can be annoying to some. If you don't want to risk damaging the circuit board, a hairdryer would probably suffice instead of a heat gun.
