I've struggled with dry eyes for a couple of decades. It's a condition that has affected most of the women in my family, plus I've also got an autoimmune disorder that has dry eyes as a symptom. As a result, I've used a million different products to try to alleviate the discomfort that comes with dry eyes, even going so far as to get little tiny plastic plugs surgically installed in my tear ducts at one point. The good news? I finally found a medication that drastically reduces my symptoms. The bad? I still deal with dry eyes from time to time. So, with that in mind, I was happy to give this product by Eye Eco a shot. I mean, it's effective, but it's cumbersome and about as far away from a "spa experience" as one can possibly imagine. The plastic mask is bulky and not very comfortable. I found it rests heavily on the cheeks and across one's nose. The self-heating packs do produce a comfortable level of heat, but it's inconvenient to have to boil these things after every use. The cooling bead packs are more typical in that you just keep them in your fridge or whatever, but you're still faced with using them in conjunction with the scuba-like mask. Adding insult to injury is the pricetag on this thing. There's nothing high-tech or special about this kit. I'll stick with my microwaveable mask for now. Three stars. The mask is bulky and uncomfortable, plus this whole thing is wildly overpriced. Read more

I truly didn't realize how complicated this kit would be because the instructions aren't clearly outlined on the listing besides their instructional video. I thought it was higher technology than it is. The self heating eye masks aren't that impressive when you have to constantly put work into reusing them. All of this infuriates me as a patient and customer, and that's just fitting along with the rest of the predatory healthcare industry. 1. this kit is absurdly overpriced, there is no justification unless somehow it's overinflated for FSA or insurance payouts, and still a rip off. I've never had a MD eye doctor, "eye professional" out of many ever recommend this kind of kit for my dry eyes and MGD issues. 2. far too complicated, too many parts, where do i start? There are so many heating eye masks out there, instant, microwave, battery powered, all those take seconds and a fraction of this cost. This one requires multiple steps and REBOILING every 2 uses. I just want to fix my dry eyes while sleeping. The heat and moisture created is average at best, no better than any other method or device. 3. The light blue protective goggles, not comfortable. Literally feels like bulky goggles on your face. No padding, no comfort. Maybe i'll get around to using these if i remember after boiling pasta. Read more

Moisture locking dry eye heat and cold therapy eye mask. Made in the USA, the silicone mask is washable with an adjustable strap. My father was prescribed a similar eye mask many years ago that was a lower price point, but with less accessories and not very durable, and after some testing I believe that this is a much hardier and durable option. It comes with 4 heat packs, and 2 cold packs, all reusable, with 100 disposable cotton liners that are one-time use. It fits snuggly, sealing in the moisture, and the gentle heat is soothing. It does take some set up, but less than the other brand which had foam that was impossible to clean and wore out quickly, with pods, one for each eye that needed to be boiled. The reusable warm packs just need you to flick the metal disk inside to activate it, and then to reset simply boil in hot water. The cold packs are good for soothing tired puffy eyes, and just need to be kept in the freezer. Overall, it works well, and I liked the reusable and easier to clean design. Definitely an upgrade from the previous product my father has been using for years. His doctor approved it as a good alternate option. It works well, is comfortable and my father wears it everyday for 15 minutes before supper. Read more

This eye mask is soothing and fairly easy to use, though the overall process is more time-consuming than traditional methods like a warm, wet towel. After using, preparing the gel packs especially boiling them to de-crystallize does take extra time, but the fact that the pads are reusable is a definite plus. The gel packs perform as advertised, staying warm for about 12–15 minutes. The mask is designed to support dry eyes and promote circulation around the eyelids, and I did notice some relief after using it. That said, the time commitment from start to finish is something to consider. I appreciate that it includes two types of gel packs for both heat and cold therapy, as well as cotton liners for each treatment. The mask itself is a bit bulky, but still comfortable enough to wear for the full session. It would have been a good idea to include a sample of the cleansing product they recommend using alongside the mask, especially since it’s suggested as part of the routine, but I saw where it is available online. Overall, it’s a helpful and soothing product, best suited for those who don’t mind spending a little extra time on eye care. Read more
