TL;DR: If you're looking for an eye massager, this will relax you and has a number of features that go beyond the standard massage. While there are a few features I haven't had a chance to use yet, such as linking my devices via Bluetooth, I've used this product enough to review its primary features. I've never used an eye massager before, so I wasn't sure what I was getting into. The first time I put on the eye massager, I was very uncomfortable. I probably have a larger-than-average head, but not exceptionally. Even still, it felt a bit tight around my head, especially with hard plastic against my nose. This also causes some pressure on my temples, which I initially thought was a criticism. However, once I got used to this, it actually ended up being a positive sensation. (I'll discuss this more below, but I want to bring this up early because the first time you put it on you may also feel uncomfortable.) Give it a try, if you can, and judge it AFTER the massage times out. Given the comments above, I initially went into this review with a negative opinion. That's one reason why I'm so surprised I felt as good as I did after I used the massager. It was so comfortable once you get used to the sensation, and that includes the pressure on the temples. YMMV depending on the amount of pressure you feel (if any), or what you're looking for in an eye massager. But for what this eye massager does -- giving you a moment to relax and tune the world out -- I can highly recommend this product. The heat feature was also surprisingly enjoyable. Initially, I felt it a bit strange, but it helped me relax and enjoy the massage all the better. I used the sound feature on one of the massages and, although it was perhaps a bit louder than I expected, as well as repetitive, I imagine many would like this feature to tune out other distracting sounds. (Repetitiveness often helps when it's intended as background noise, anyway.) The massage times out when it completes, and there are several modes that have different massage patterns, features, and durations. I want to make a comment about the instruction manual that came with the product. Technically, it gave me enough information to use the product and understand the symbols on the display. However, that's about it. It could use a lot more information for people that may not know how to use the product, especially information on how to adjust the fit (if that's even possible). I purchased the eye massager out of curiosity and as s chance to deal positively with eye strain from spending too much time on a computer screen. The unit arrived rapidly and without hassle from Amazon.com. Rapid arrival was surprising in light of the covid-19 issue, but in spite of that matter, delivery was in a few days. The box doesn’t make much difference to the product therein, but it does send a subtle message about the quality and attention to detail of the maker/seller. In this case the box and packaging were of excellent quality and the message was good. I removed the unit from the box and was greeted with what appeared to a substantial and well built product. I located the instructions in the box and attempted to read them, but that was a bit difficult for me at 76, probably ok for younger people……but my visual acuity is off a bit and small print is a problem. On the other hand, it took very little to figure out how to turn it on and try it for the first time. Operation is simple and straight forward. The first use was eye opening. Equipped with multiple functions, I turned them all on and sat back and experienced. I didn’t relax a lot as I paid attention to all of the functions and found it quite amazing that all of those functions including heat were included in a small package and all were quite noticeable. Later in the day I sat in a recliner and put the unit on. All was fine, but I noticed that the nose piece was a bit hard on the bridge of my nose……..but then I repositioned the unit and found it acceptable if not perfect. Then just laid back and let it work. The true function, relaxation of stress, showed itself. Some time later I woke up from a nap that was quite restful. Not planned or intended…..it just happened: a good sign of what that unit can produce. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but my conclusion is that the unit works to help deal with stress and tension in a simple and direct manner. Sitting in a comfortable chair or lying on a bed, it is easy to get lost in the pleasant sensations produced by the massager. This product won’t change your life, but as in my case, it can result in pleasant interludes from fatigue and stress. And if it does that, it is worth the reasonable and moderate price. Read more
