Eye Wash by Bausch Lomb Eye Relief Solution that Cleans Refreshes and Soothes 4 Fl Oz

My oncologist's PA first recommended this to me when my eyes were burning, feeling dry, and tearing a lot due to chemotherapy. They never started bothering me until two or three days later, but if I used the little cup to wash out my eyes several times a day starting the day of chemo, it helped to rinse out the chemicals so that the later irritation was minimized. After five years of regular chemo treatments, I now also use day and night moisturizing eye drops, but I still use the Bausch & Lomb Eye Wash quite often to get dust and things out of my eyes, and I always use it after washing my hair to rinse out the tiny amounts of shampoo and conditioner that get into them. I have severe allergies and dry eyes sometimes. Using drops sometimes irritates my eyes further. Every couple days, I use this eye wash and it has really helped with the dryness and irritation. I am an optician and have access to eye doctors constantly. I have prescription eye drops. And this eye wash is what I always recommend when triaging patients over the phone before recommending anything else. It's super easy to use, even if you're weird about putting things in and around your eyes. The cup suctions extremely well and only a little bit is needed for each eye, so the bottle really goes a long way. I would suggest that if you do anything that requires you to wear eye protection and creates a lot of dust (especially drywalling), you buy some of this and use it once in a while, even if you're not having issues. Same price as at the store! Very nice as a eye drop after allergies act up from yard work/or during high pollen days. Began using after eye surgery when a doctor recommended it. Plus additional perks are; I find We get far Less sinus infections using a eye-cleaning/drops with boric acid base! Once the kids brought pink eye over & this resolved it in two days.... I even keep a different bottle on hand fir our white Maltese dog & post baths (every 10 days to 2 weeks) Rinse his eyes post bath~This & a grain free diet devoid of beet pulp; & he no longer has pink eye stains! I love this eye wash. It is good for any reason. Anytime your eyes need a rinse, with soothing, clean, sterile saline solution. Like a bath for the eyes. Helps with dry eye, red eyes, tired eyes, something stuck in eyes, etc. always keep this on hand in medicine cabinet. Read more

This eye wash works well to clear allergens and such from the eye, but the solution feels a bit 'thin'. While it removes irritants, it doesn't do a lot to add comfort; I would recommend eye drops afterwards. But overall you get a good amount for the cost, and it comes with an eye cup so everything you need is in the box. Read more

U LIKED THE FACT THAT YOU CAN USE THIS PRODUCT AS MANY TIMES A DAY AS YOU FEEL IS NECESSARY WITHOUT HURTING YOUR EYES. iIT IS VERY COOLING AND TAKES THE STING OUT OF THE EYES, UNLIKE EYE DROPS WHICH USUALLY DO STING WHEN YOU PUT THEM IN YOUR EYES. I ALSO HAVE FOUND I DON'T HAVE TO USE THIS EYE WASH NEARLY AS OFTEN AS I HAD TO USE THE EYE DROPS. QUITE ECONOMICAL, AS ONE BOTTLE HAS LASTED ME ABOUT TWO MONTHS. This stuff is great for quick relief from dry eyes, pollen or dust irritation, and for flushing a foreign body out of your eye. I have chronic dry eyes and use this first thing when I wake up in the morning. I wish they still made Colyrrium but this is a pretty good replacement. I got a bargain store brand once and it burned and stung! None of that with B&L's eye wash. Read more

I have chronic dry eye. I do not use this in my eyes but I wash the outside of them every morning and night with a cotton ball. It helps them feel better. I use something else for eye drops and I also use castor oil on my lower lids at night. Castor oil with no chemicals. Read more
