The pens are cheap but you get what you pay for. The gel doesn't last as long as certain main brands. However, to have in my classroom for students these are ideal. Cheap and plentiful. Keeps them from taking my favorite, name brand gel pens. Read more

Overall, I really liked these pens. The silicone "grip" at the pointy end of the shaft makes my hold on the pen very secure, and allows me to be very precise in my writing. We had someone with "small" and someone with "average" sized hands use the pen, and both agreed the pen was comfortably to hold. The tip is covered in a waxy substance so hopefully the ink should not dry out before you get a chance to use the pen. The clicker is comfortable to press, and makes a nice clicky sound when you use it. The clip, however, seems a little weak/unsecure and if you like to push your finger on it, like I do, seems likely to break. I don't use the clip for functional purposes, however, so a broken clip is no big deal to me. The writing is precise, and marks exactly where I want (and nowhere I don't), and I did not notice any smearing. Writing was smooth and effortless. The blue color is nice, but could be a bit more "blue" or a bit more bright, in my opinion. The color just seemed a little subdued. Owning a small business, I go through a lot of pens usually because they get mislaid, carried off, are low quality and thus quite working, or come with ridiculously small amounts of ink. As a result, I like to buy them in small bulk amounts so when I saw these on Amazon, I thought I would give them a try. First the low price per pen on amazon caught my eye. Next, they met my basic needs, black, GEL Ink, and fine tip so I thought let us see if they are worth it. When they came, I immediately had to give them a try since I needed blue ink with the same specifications. Immediately their barrel size and weight felt right in my hand. I tried them and the ink flowed well on the paper and immediately dried reducing any chance for smudging. However, my final test is a complete unknown and is never covered (or covered incorrectly) in the product description, that being the amount of ink the actual pen contains. This product had an image which showed the amount of ink in the pen but to be honest I was extremely suspect. However, as you can see in my image this pen is full of ink and will likely never run out of ink before it gets mislaid or is carried off. Read more

I prefer gel pens as they seem to write better for me. I am left handed and those of you who are left handed know the difficulty with writing with a pen! As you write the left palm is quickly rubbing across the recent writing and if a pen is not quick drying the writing is smudged and ink is all over your palm. If you are left handed you know what I am talking about. So, that is something I look for first off and these pens are awesome! They are very quick drying and does not smudge. I was a little concerned about the "fine point" but 0.5mm is the typical pen and is actually perfect for me. I also prefer black (over blue) and these are perfect there as well. Very nice rubber area for the fingers to easily grip the pen and are very comfortable. These are great pens and with a bundle box of 25 these are very affordable and a great deal for the price.
