I am not into the "vegan" advertising or anything, I just like that when you use a bamboo cotton swab they don't bend like regular Q-tips. These come in a nice box and work for us. The kind you get at the grocery store I am sure are more economical but these are better quality and work better so..... I buy them . Read more
I know it sounds simple when it comes to something like this. But when you use cotton swabs with 99% IPA for cleaning solder flux and electronics they can break down fast. These have been the best I have ever used. They don’t break down easy so it doesn’t leave fuzzies on the board. The fine tips allow me to get into tight areas. Unlike paper ones they are stronger with bamboo sticks allowing me to get them into those 4mm banana jack ports without them bending. Because of how tight the cotton is wound I am able to use one of these that would normally take 4 to do the same job. I defiantly plan to keep using them and buy this brand. Read more
Very tightly wound and pointy tip for a swab. The bamboo stick is less durable than expected. The bamboo stick will flex a little more than a wood swab. But the bamboo stick seems to snap almost more easily than wood. At least compared to my wood stick swabs. My wood swabs are not premium either. No, not the tight spots on you...your pistol! {Although, I could imagine your bodies tight spots may find these useful too.} I've been using regular round tip type cotton swabs to clean recesses on my pistols. It occurred to me that getting into the corners may need a pointed q-tip so I searched and found they do make them and I purchased these. They work perfectly for getting into the corners on your slides, the slide grooves, screw holes and the like to remove the grime or carbon of your pistol. Read more
