These work great for lighting up a staircase. I have six installed and they provide plenty of light. They’re simple to use, though the buttons are small, so be sure to keep the instructions for the correct number of button presses. Battery life is excellent. Even with a dog and cat constantly going up and down the stairs, they last at least two weeks. The three-plug charging cord makes it easy to recharge all six at once. I LOVE THESE LIGHTS!! I bought these lights this past November and they are great!! I have some spots in my home that are a little dark and these little gems work wonders. I have a hall closet that is always dark and as soon as I approach the door, they turn on and really illuminate the closet. I also use them under my desk so that I can see the CPU of my computer; again, they work great! I highly recommend these. These are pretty good. I took down a wired set to put these up. I would like to set them to come on with the motion sensor, but they are really TOO sensitive and using that setting runs the down pretty quickly. However, they are very easy to take down and charge and actually, I can charge them in place as the plug is close enough. The magnetic installation is super easy and holds well. If there was a setting to adjust the motion sensor so it did not go off every time someone walks in the kitchen I would give this five stars. Read more
These are so amazing I bought them twice. My kitchen is so dark even with overhead light on. I put them under my cabinets and set them on automatic. Perfect! The magnet is strong and they last at least a month before I need to recharge them. It does take some time to recharge but I think It's because I plug them into my laptop to do it. These light packs are great. They charge quickly and last longer than other brands I have tried. They are easy to install and stay fixed in place. You can either use the adhesive magnet or screw in. Having a choice is great depending how you want to install them. They are portable which makes them great for camping or taking outdoors. I don't recommend installing outdoors since I don't think they are waterproof. They put out a lot of light. I use them in closets, my kitchen pantry, work and craft benches for extra light. You can turn them off, motion sensor or to stay on. They don't have a remote, but with the three functions you really don't need it. Read more
Very disappointed with the short charge life. I loved these when I got them. They were exactly what I was looking for. Loved that there are three light settings (warm bright, daylight) and easy to remove (magnetic) for recharging. Sadly, they run down way too fast. So disappointing. I have them set on the warm (lowest) light setting, auto on/off (motion) and "night" and they falter within a few days of each charge. At first I'm not sure if it's just the auto-motion/light exposure/sensitivity causing it not to go on when I am near it, then I realize, nope- the thing needs to be recharged again. Outstanding product . Easy to install , you can switch lighting modes and colors . I used mine in my medicine cabinet in the bathroom and outside the back door - seems to work fine outside as long as it's mounted under something and isn't getting rained on . The 3-prong charger allows you to charge all 3 at once ; just the charger alone would cost you what this is selling for if you bought it at the grocery store checkout line . The streamline design of this light has made it very versatile. It worked so wonderfully that I purchased another two sets. I have yet to put any of them where I originally intended, along the baseboard in my hallway, as I keep finding new and exciting places to place them. The best spot yet is on the fuse box. No more working in the dark to determine which fuse to flip. My electric bill is bound to go down as I have one of this little motion lights on my refrigerator. It lights up my entire, small, kitchen. I no longer need to turn on a light just to get a glass of water. The lights easy lets you know when they need charging as they get dimmer.
