These earbuds arrived partially charged (as was the case) and ready to use right out of the box. There is a protective film isolating the earbuds from the magnetic charging ports in the case, but it's pretty obvious that this is to be removed. The earbuds paired easily (via Bluetooth) with my iPhone, and testing using Duolingo and YouTube revealed clean, clear sound. The tips on the earbuds fit my ear canals, but three sets of alternative sizes, in both black and grey, are included. My hubby tested these ones out. He said the fit is 10/10. All the extra ear bud parts are fantastic. He said the sound quality is a soft 6, but could be a 5. It wasn't BAD but he said there was not enough messing he could do to make them sound GOOD either. The very slippery case isn't good. He said that IF he brought them to work, he would be very worried about dropping them and losing them forever. He has different buds for work, so they probably won't go there. I have more earbuds that any one person should. Yet I still get excited when I see a pair advertising "Deep Bass" because I'm a sucker for really good bass, especially in my earbuds. Sadly these do not deliver in the bass dept, nor would I call it "Premium Sound" per their listing. They are mediocre in all aspects when it comes to performance. They ARE comfortable, and the touch sensitivity is very nice. Each earbud has multi press functions which can get a bit confusing, but they DO all work. For less than $25 you are never going to get a GREAT pair of earbuds, but these are at the lower end of what I would expect, even at this price point. Don’t love these. For comparison, we regularly purchase JLAB (Target brand with built in USB). For our kids. They are about $20. In my humble opinion, I like the sound of those better. These are fairly quite by comparison. Mic also didn’t work well when on the phone. Likely would not purchase again. Read more
