Early verdict: solid quality towels

Ordered these on 6/25 and received them at my remote home in SD on 6/28. As others said in their reviews, the lint basket in my dryer was overflowing with lint after the first wash. I've only washed them once so far, so I'll see what future washing and drying brings. The packaging is exceedingly nice, so if you want to give these as a gift, they'll be extra impressive. When I first felt them right out of the box, I didn't think they felt that soft. After one wash and tumble dry, they do feel softer. I'm curious if they'll feel softer after each washing. They're adequate in softness for me, but not like super plush "omg" soft or anything. I hung my towel to dry, and it wasn't dry to use the next day, so they are on the thick side. Maybe it would dry in the winter time when it's not so humid? Absorbency is great. At $94.99 for a 6-pc set, that's $15.83 per pc, or could be broken down something like $7.50/wash cloth, $10/hand towel, $30/bath towel, which is plenty expensive imo. I'm not sure they're worth that much, but they do seem like very nice towels. Read more
