This was a very nice sweater it was made well and I thought the price was reasonable but everybody told me when I put it on I looked like a grandma in it. I think it's a great sweater for layering and it's just as cute as it could be. I think it's a wonderful little fall sweater so I guess I'll look like a grandma in it. This sweater is made out of a soft lightweight knit and is perfect for layering when the weather gets cooler but not frigid. The beige color is just as expected and the design around the neck area is pretty and looks great. I am impressed on how well the seams are finished and that they did a good job matching the pattern in the front to the back. ( a pet peeve of mine) I purposely got the next size up so that I could layer comfortably it fits exactly as I hoped. This is a really cute, really nice sweater. It's extremely soft, and seems to be pretty good quality. I've worn it a few times now, and it's easily washable and holding up quite well. I do lay it flat to dry each time, just because it's a habit. The fit is good, I feel like the size chart that was provided was correct/accurate. The fabric is soft to the touch, with just the right amount of thickness, and the red pattern complements the beige beautifully. This makes it perfect for spring or fall, or to use as a layering item in winter. She said it is comfortable to wear, and doesn't feel heavy. The current fit is excellent, however the neckline material is noticeably thinner than the main body fabric, which leads to concerns abour it's potential durability and shape retention after repeated washing and wear. It is machine washable, but keep in mind, the product description recommends using a laundry bag and the cold water setting. (No bleach).
