Every kitchen in the UK seems to use Fairy Liquid for dishwashing. On a recent trip to England, having no laundry detergent handy, I used Fairy Liquid to hand wash delicate clothing items, and I was delighted with the results. Fairy Liquid cleaned beautifully, left a light pleasant smell, and best of all was extra-gentle on my hands. I was pleased to find on my return to the US that I could buy it on Amazon.
