The media could not be loaded. I ordered this $60 FairyHaus wicker basket (Amazon ASIN B0DXV9WJ68) because I liked how it looked but I was really surprised when it arrived. Wow. It's nice. I love it. It's beautifully made, where I can see how it's perfect for a diaper basket with three deep cotton-divided sections with the soft yarn handle that looks like twine but is very soft yarn. The basket material seems to be a wicker style, where the Amazon listing says it is made out of seagrass which is not a sea grass so much as a marine lilly found in brackish saltwater estuaries around the world. I liked that the leaves of the marine lilies were woven tightly but to keep them from popping out, there was intricate stitching all around keeping everything together. A bit of white glue popped out here and there (see photos) which was a clue to me that the whole thing is actually glued together, which is fine by me, as it does feel sturdy and it will need to hold a few pounds of baby products if used as a diaper caddy. Speaking of glue popping out, there are three tabs to tie the cotton divider to, where the material is not finished, so it will easily unravel over time (again, see detailed photos where it already started to unravel). It's still very nice, but they should have serged or heat sealed the edges a tiny bit. I ended up using a match on them to prevent further fraying, but that's about the only real flaw as this basket is otherwise fantastic. I love how SOFT the "rope" handles are (they're actually yarn) especially since we're aiming for baby soft in the baby's room changing table. The deep scallops are extra marine lily leaves glued on to the top area, which is more than a simple adornment as they stiffen the top edge of the basket - which is an important feature as you don't want it flopping over in heavy use. Overall, this $60 FairyHaus wicker basket, despite being glued together and having a few unfinished edges on the cotton dividers that may fray, is a surprisingly sturdy and beautifully made seagrass (a type of marine lily) diaper caddy with soft yarn handles and stiffening scalloped edges. This is the cutest little diaper organizer. Admittedly, I got it for our van as it doesn’t have a center console and I needed a place to store diapers, wipes, and all the other necessary things we might need while out and about. The basket itself is absolutely beautiful! It’s sturdy and feels well made. The interior organizers tie into the basket and are a nice size. My only complaint is that the bottom of the organizer piece doesn’t tie to the bottom of the basket. Things sneak underneath or kind of scatter. It’s not a huge deal, but enough to annoy me from time to time when I have to readjust everything. Otherwise, it’s perfect and we love the added organization in the car! Read more
