Because of Amazons wonderful return policy I was able to try a few of the compact alarm clocks and this is the best! It is light and very easy to travel with. The light does not stay on at nite (a good feature) and if you do want to check the time, the top snooze button will shine a very dull light for just a few seconds with is perfect. This is by far the best travel alarm I have ever had. For that matter, it's the best bedside clock I could ever want. Why? Simplicity, easy to set, big easy to read numerals, totally quiet, compact, and dark in the dark (for those who like sleeping in the dark). Setting time and alarm are extremely easy and intuitive. No extraneous functions or features, taking up space on the screen, adding frustrating complexity, that have nothing to do with the time or an alarm. There is one other feature this clock does have that is at the tip of my requirements. My husband and I use Alexa to wake us up in the morning but we like to have a backup. We both have one of these. It is very simple to set and at night when you want to know the time all you have to do is press the snooze. The numbers are large and it stays lit up for about 20 seconds. It does not stay lit up all night. That is what we wanted. My husband was having issues with being able to see his clock at night so I ordered him one like mine. Keeps perfect time. I love this clock! It has a simple display (i don't need the date, etc.) and the button-push back-light is the right amount of brightness. (I tried two other clocks - one was woah "wake me up" too bright - the other was so dim as to be useless at night, which is when I need it!) I like the size, and that it folds for travel. It feels solid. The alarm sound is fine, and has a low and high volume setting. My only small issue was that it was a little tight to open and close at first; now it's fine. I had rated this clock a zero. (See the review below.) Now I would give the highest rating. What changed? Famicozyglobal changed my mind! They clearly stand behind their product. When they saw my previous review they sent me an e-mail saying they were sorry about my experience and would like to make it right. I didn't respond. I had already retuned the clock and Amazon had refunded the payment. It was done! Then I received a note from support at Famicozy requesting my mailing address so they could send a replacement clock. I did; and, they did. The new clock arrived a few days later. I inserted new batteries, followed the straight-forward startup instructions and WALLA the new FAMICOZY Compact Digital Travel Alarm Clock was working. My wife is happy with it's size. it's looks and it's performance. I am pleased with the way Famicozy handled the problem. I hardily commend the company and their product. I still don't know why the first one didn't work but will accept the fact that 100% problem-free production is near impossible but customer service can overcome most. Thank you Famicozy. This clock did not work. When I read the instructions I felt the setup and operations were straightforward and easily accomplished. Not so! After inserting the two (2 ) AAA batteries I heard a beeping noise and thought so far, so good. Following the next step: pressing "clock" I realized something was wrong. The "setup" wasn't working. I reviewed the instructions and tried again. I checked the position of the batteries, I attempted combinations of keys and finally tried the online "support" site. It basically said to send a message and they'd respond in 48 hours. To add insult to injury, when I sought to return it through Amazon I was told that it would cost $1.00 to use UPS services. Bought this to help me physically get out of bed to turn off my alarm in the morning so I could get up on time. I can place it in different parts of my room so I actually have to think about where it is, thus waking my brain up and increasing the chance of me staying up and out of bed. It is fairly loud so I put something behind it to muffle the sound a bit bc I don’t want to be frightened awake, startled awake is just fine. I only wish it had the option to schedule the alarm to go off on week days without me having to turn it on every single night. Easy to set the time and alarm time. Which is good because every 6-8 weeks or so, the clock time falls behind by like 2-3 minutes (based on my phone clock) so I have to reset it but it’s not a huge deal. Battery life has been good. Bought in mid 2024 and haven’t had to replace them yet. Read more
