I also wanted dinnerware that was lighter in weight than my Corsica, Mugs go perfectly with the square dinnerware from same brand, and are comfortable to hold. Famiware colors can be mixed and matched, which i did with excellent results. So far, do fine in dishwasher and hold up to two teenagers. No problems with stacking or storing.
