This is the tote bag I was looking for. My trusty suede travel tote was giving up the ghost and I wanted something a little more secure for flights -- my beloved suede tote did not zip. Hubby and I decided to experiment with sharing a suitcase to Paris last month, and this tote not only held my purse, tablet and in-flight emergency items, but an extra jacket, pair of shoes and souvenirs. The luggage sleeve fit over the handle on our rolling bag. It fit under the seat in front of me on the plane quite nicely, thank you very much. This bag is large, sturdy, and roomy. The shoulder straps are long and wide enough for my height, 5'4". I've tested the zipper, and it seems somewhat fragile, but I haven't really put it to use yet, because I forgot the bag has a zipper. I didn't notice it in the description or the photos, but it has a padded electonics pocket, and it's BLUE! Iove that. It's a good strong everyday tote, and I'm very happy with it. Read more
