Compact and very light weight. The heating elements fires up very fast and it doesn't release that foul smell that many other units with the copper/aluminium do. I like that it has two speeds on the fan and equals two oscillating options. The construction is plastic, but it feels strong. This small heater packs a punch!!! This heater is small but powerful! I have been using it this small heater to heat up my legs in the office and it quickly heats up the entire office! I love the oscillating feature! Usually small heaters like this don't have an oscillating feature which causes you to only be able to use it for a short period of time before it's too hot to bear.
