Great first electric scooter for kids. Very simple to assemble and use. It doesn't have a throttle, instead the motor gradually kicks in at about 3 mph. This is much safer than a throttle, especially for young kids. It also has two speeds, 6 and 10 mph, so they can go faster when they are more comfortable. The handlebar is adjustable which was important because my six year old granddaughter is a little short. It arrived quickly from Amazon in great shape She really loves hers. Couldn't be happier.
