For reference: I am 5'9, about 150#, wear a size 6 typically. I have narrow shoulders and a smallish chest and ordered a medium in the light khaki color. First impression upon unpacking was that this trench absolutely exceeded my expectations. The fabric is very soft and lightweight but not cheap feeling. Zero shine, thankfully. Though lightweight, it also has a great drape to it. Stitching is even and tidy. This was shipped in a bag so obviously there were some wrinkles but they were minimal. Color is spot on - photos are accurate. The color of the lining fabric is nearly identical to the exterior, which I also appreciate. Upon trying this on, I was immediately concerned that the lapels were comically wide, but quickly realized that it was only due to the placement of the fold it came with. I was able to easily correct that while ironing out the wrinkles from shipping (using low heat and a press cloth). The overall fit is exactly as I had hoped - just loose enough to have that casual/nonchalant vibe (as on the model). It'll accommodate heavy sweaters or my blazers without being so big that it looks boxy or shapeless, even unbelted over thinner layers. Again, great drape. The length is good - falls to maybe 2 inches below the knee on me. The sleeves are slightly shorter than I'd prefer, ending right AT my wrist bones, but I'm long limbed and that is always the case. These aren't so short that anyone but me would notice tho, and I also tend to fold back the cuffs to "bracelet length" on everything I wear anyway, so it hardly matters. The sleeve belts cinch to a reasonable width. The shoulder epaulets are also functional, so I was able to use the second buttonhole for a better fit on my narrow frame. As for the small details: the buttons themselves are a good color - a black variegated rather than brown tortoise - and seem secure. Buttonholes are tidy, and there are no loose or hanging threads anywhere that I've found yet. The button stitches (black thread) do of course show up on the inside of the coat and look a little messy, but it's whatever. The belt is neatly stitched, plenty long and has plan silver D rings, which I prefer ( my London Fog trench uses ugly gunmetal hardware and I hate that). There are two belt loops on the coat. The pockets are deep enough that they're functional (I can fit my whole hand plus about 2" of wrist). There are just two, on the exterior. I do wish more coats came with an interior pocket or two but I've accepted that modern stuff rarely does. One very minor detail I know is going to actually bother me is that there is no loop sewn on inside on the back of the collar to hang this on a coat hook. Maybe I'll add one. This coat isn't going to keep you warm on days below maybe 50 F, but it'll cut the wind. I have not tested the water resistance yet, but as far as looks go, overall I like this WAY more than my London Fog. We'll see how it holds up. Read more
This trench is adorable. I read the reviews and ordered a size up because I already have long arms and didn't want to run the risk (normally I am a Medium - ordered the Large). It was just fine. Not short at all in the arms on me. It is SO CUTE and EVERYTHING I WANTED. I love the fabric. It's a nice color. It feels much more expensive than it was. I love the large and roomy shoulders. I had another trench once and never wore it because it was too structured in the shoulders and I felt like a soldier in it. This one has the perfect amount of slouch. Will definitely wear all Fall. Don't hesitate - just get it! Read more

I’m 6’0” and 157 pounds, tall and slender. I purchased this in khaki, and in the suggested size of large. I probably could’ve gone up to an XL, in the hope that it would give me a little longer sleeves. The coat is actually beautifully made, with all buttons matching and securely sewn on to the coat; however, no spare buttons were provided, which is odd. Most clothing companies provide at least one spare button. The coat fit my shoulders, but the sleeves are just about 1/2” to an inch too short. There may be a little in the sleeve hems that could be let out. I’ll confer with someone who does alterations and find out. The fabric and lining are beautiful colors, and the exterior fabric has a lovely, rich luster to it. It’s almost a deep golden, I would say. It’s plenty long in the bodice; it’s just the sleeves that aren’t long enough. I’m pretty long-waisted, so the belt loops are a little too high. The only time that would feel odd to me, though, is if I button or tie the coat closed. I don’t plan on doing that very often and have already tied the belt neatly in the back. I would definitely purchase this coat again. I would still try to have the sleeves let out, however. But the price is definitely “right.” Read more
Perfect for California weather not too thick & not too thin. Honestly I really wasn't expecting much since I got it on sale at 39$ I was expecting the quality to be short coming But it really surprised me with how great it felt just unwrapping it. Will definitely be ordering a couple more. Sizing is perfect for me. I was worried at 5"3 it might be comically long on me and although it is a little long it's fine, looks great and the arm length was perfect. Read more
Love this jacket. It is the perfect length especially for rainy days and will be nice for travel. It is light weight and will be good for layering under. I got an XL and a L would probably have fit me fine but I wanted to make sure I left room for layers. Jacket is stylish and really looks nice on. Read more
I was looking for a long trench and this is it! I am 5’ 6.5” and this has the length, loose cut and forgiving fabric that I was looking for. This will be for spring with a light layering piece, either short or long sleeve. Jeans 👖 or dressier. It’s a very flexible fashion addition to thr closet. Read more
Nice coat, good length, doesn’t wrinkle easily, light but ok with a sweater for cool fall weather. I had hoped for it to be a little more over sized but looks nicely fitted….true to size. I had my dry cleaner add two more buttons to the epaulets as two to the wrist straps. I felt just one button on each made the coat unfinished and messy looking. Read more
