I absolutely love the flameless luminary collection. Pros - The bases (look more expensive than they are and fit in with any decor) - The light (this produces a lovely flickering light that mimics the glow of a candle without the worry) - The batteries (this come with Duracell batteries installed) - Time (the light last for four hours. Enough to go to sleep to with a nice ambiance.) Cons - Battery life (I bought rechargeable batteries for mine because regular batteries only last 40 hours or so. So 10 uses. That's not a lot when you think about it even though 40 hours sounds like a lot. I think this varies based on battery type used and strength of batteries.) - Shades (Some of the shades don't smell so terrific and are as expensive as the base itself. Several people have suggested the idea of making your own shades and I think that's a wonderful idea. The shades I like best are the Anjou Pear, the Cranberry Pear, the Agave Rainfall.) Read more

The media could not be loaded. I recently found the insert for this when cleaning my room and I could t find the base. I thankfully found one on Amazon but the inserts are discontinued. This smells so nice, it’s so pretty & you don’t have to worry about blowing it out (like a candle). I normally would have just tossed the insert seeing that I can’t buy any so why buy this, but my dear mother-in-law bought it for me before she passed and there was no way I was doing that. I love these. I don't rely use them as scent just as a fake candle. The flicker slightly and produce a soft light. The batteries last a few months 2 AA. I just wish they had a 4 hour shut off, still much safer then a real candle thou. Read more
