These are terrific! Best price for plenty of them! Improved a sorry area in the yard. Between weed killer and 3 little dogs - I covered it with indoor outdoor mats. First, I raked it all out, removed any rocks. Leveled it all. Put down cardboard layer (saved packaging boxes). Added weed fabric and tacked that down with these stakes on top of the cardboard layer down to the dirt. Added the indoor outdoor mats. Made a seam I'm proud of! These have straight corners instead of an arch. So, I put my hand around the 'legs' so they don't spread out too far when I'm hitting it with the mallet. Not 1 stretched out or got ruined! Excellent. Works great paired with landscaping fabric. They do bend when tapping them in the ground if they hit a rock, but can easily be bent back into shape. Very easy to install and the perfect size for our landscaping. Thickness was also a plus as there are some on the market that are much thinner and not as rust resistant as these ones are.
