These journals are worth every penny! I did a lot of research before buying because I was on an extremely low budget but needed enough journals for everyone in my book club. The journals came in and are EXTREMELY well made and the pens seem to work amazingly. (I didn’t personally take a journal so I haven’t gotten feedback back in this area but no one has complained) it also says these are “pocket sized” below but they’re about the regular size of what you’ve consider a diary. I love the size of these notebooks. I'm currently laser engraving "I love you 1,000 Daisies" on the front to commemorate Lorelai's Engagement to Max. Perfect page count and paper thickness. I've used Sharpie pens and other gel ink and it doesn't bleed through from one page to the next. The small piece of elastic is an excellent closure with a red ribbon inside to mark the place in the book you had just been at. The value is right in the area that works best for me. The yellow color is really beautiful and laser engraves either to a light butter color or a darker brown depending on the settings I've chosen on the laser. Regardless, they are durable and hold up well to the laser and shipping in a padded envelope. Read more
