I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis. It's especially bad when getting out of bed in the morning. I've been wearing these socks at night. I bought a pair of these & a pair of their Elite socks. I try for daily walking & every sock I have is too thick, too prone to either slipping in too far or even under the heel or else bunching/twisting at the toe, all super annoying. So trying Feetures seemed like a good chance to take. So when the 2 pairs arrived, right away I began using & absolutely falling in LOVE with the Elites. I put aside the Fasciitis socks & it wasn’t long before my regular walking virtually stopped after I got these due to record high heat in the AZ desert. (Gotta stay alive to walk another day!) When I did open this Fasciitis pair up & try them, I found they hurt a good size bunion (that is not painful) on one foot. I could only wear them 10-15 min until discomfort in the bunion was too much, probably from the increased compression on that messed up joint. (Note: I don’t have active fasciitis now but got these in case it ever threatens to come back, hoping they’d help me knock it down.) It wasn’t until then when I tried this pair & had pain that I realized It was a few days past the return window. So I wrote to Feetures & explained my dilemma. I asked to trade this pair in for another pair of Elites - after all I’d only worm them a few minutes inside while wearing Birkenstocks to see how they felt. The response? Feetures kind, caring customer service rep replied early the next morning, not to worry, they’d send a replacement. She did better & sent me 2 pairs of Elites and did not require this pair returned. I didn’t think I had anyone to give this great (but ouchy for me) pair to but hubby said he’d try them once he gives up on his summer flip flop fixation this year. Pretty sure he’ll love them as much as I love my Elites. I’m a lifelong customer now & will keep buying the Elites as long as Feetures makes them. They make my feet feel great, my walks feel a kind of bouncy glide not available in “regular” socks. And beyond that, Feetures, the company, makes me feel like they care & that I’m a valued customer. This kind of customer care is so uncommon these days but it’s such a welcome pleasure to find. Everyone I know will hear this very awesome story. You’ve got me forever, Feetures! Will know after a few more wears, but these socks definitely have the compression that that they say they have for the feet. On the first wear I felt certain areas of my feet feel more stable and there was some nerve action happening from the added support. I have small feet, so I don’t know how the small goes for people with larger feet, but they feel perfect for a 5.5/6. Read more
