I’m small on top—but have full thighs and hips, so shorts generally look horrible on me (and I wear an extra small and top – – but generally need a medium on the bottom). I normally just wear sundresses in the summer – – but I was going on a trip to Costa Rica, where I would need something a bit sportier then sundresses, for hiking and biking around near a beach and a jungle. I was able to wear a small in these shorts without issue—and since the legs were wide with a little flare (almost like an a-line skirt), they didn’t make my thighs look enormous. For context, i’m 5‘6“ and 124 pounds. I bought both the pink and a beige colors— and both were great, although I preferred and ended up wearing the pink the most (I feel like the beige color was a little bit too light – – I would have preferred a khaki). These got wet from time to time, from the ocean and occasional rain, but they dried quickly. They got somewhat wrinkled in my luggage – –but I felt like the style was somewhat forgiving of wrinkles. All in all, I was so glad I had these on my trip. I basically lived in this and two other pairs of shorts. And i’ll wear them this summer too. Great product! Read more
