I'm a muscular, hourglass shaped 5'5" 160 pound woman. I ordered size large and I probably could have sized up. Yes they stretch, but the lace rolls easily, and I don't even have excess fat or anything on my hips. I'm not oddly shaped, I don't have rolls and the lace still curls up if I'm not careful. Love these so much. They fit perfectly, have a nice stretch, cover all that needs covering (without over doing it) and stay in place. I’ve tried a few different (super inexpensive) brands on Amazon and hated them all. Cheap material, not enough coverage, and even front wedgies... 😳 These are the absolute best, and worth the few extra dollars. Plus they hold up in the wash. I feel like they perhaps run just a bit small though. I usually wear small in those types of thong underwear (as I’m short waisted), and in this brand, the M/L fits perfectly.
