Helped my son using these and purchased a set before we even finished loading the truck. How did we survive without them? They are well-made and help heavy furniture glide over carpet. One warning, don't leave heavy furniture on them or they will dent and it's permanent. My husband wanted to leave them under some heavy furniture after we placed it so it could be moved again as we settled into our new home but now they are dented; still usable but not as they were. We bought this set as a supplement to another variety pack. I recommend having plenty so that you can place them under all your furniture as you are rearranging and you don't have to take them from one piece to another and back again as you are moving furniture around. UPDATE: I updated my review with some more info. I had to purchase new appliances and the fridge and stove are much heavier than my prior appliances. These sliders didn't work quite as good with the heavier appliances. They did not slide as well. You actually have to put some downward pressure on the appliance and it will slide without the sliders coming out from under the feet. Also after the appliance has set on the slider for 24hrs, the slider is indented some so the appliance foot stays more firmly planted in it. Definitely not as easy to use with heavier items. Still worthwhile though. I used these to move stoves and fridges in two units; 1 with grouted tile and the other with linoleum. Worked great once you get them under the appliances. The appliances did not slide off them and they slid easily with no scratches or cuts in the flooring. DO pay attention to the orientation of the protector; the BLACK side needs to be on the APPLIANCE side; the brown felt on the flooring. I am leaving these under the appliances to easily moving them to clean behind them. Otherwise, you will definitely have problems with these! I also put them under the legs of a large couch to disburse the weight and hopefully the feet won't smash the carpet under the legs so bad. Glad I purchased these. Read more

getting new carpet installed in living room and didn't want to pay the installers to move my furniture. I have very heavy steel frame electric reclining couches that do not come apart easily, and a very heavy stone electric fireplace. i wanted to try and slide them into my kitchen which is hardwood. I was working by myself with my wife at work. I did not care about the carpet in the living room, since it was getting ripped up anyway, so i slid them across the carpet until i got to the kitchen, which i then put the pads under the feet installing more as i slid it further into the kitchen. all the furniture slid very easily on the hardwood. keep in mind i am "younger" (44 years old), and work a hard manual labor job, so i am capable and no stranger to lifting and moving heavy objects. I still had to lift the furniture a section at a time to put the pads underneath, and it's not like the furniture moves itself. it still required pushing with my body weight because it is very heavy. But without these, the furniture would not slide over the wood without severely gouging it. they definitely served their purpose, and are reusable. the heavy furniture may leave indents in the foam, but that is the idea as it keeps the feet from sliding off, and it does not ruin them or take away from their effectiveness. once in a while i would notice, as i was pushing the furniture, that one would come out. this was because i was lifting slightly while pushing without even knowing it. not a defect of the product at all. when i put everything back after new carpeting was installed, i had gotten some sliders with a smooth plastic bottom, instead of felt, made for carpet and as i slid the furniture onto the carpet, i would swap the felt ones for the plastic ones and they slid easily on the carpet. these products made it possible for me to move all my furniture by myself without hurting myself or having to disassemble anything. definitely worth the money, and a very good value for the amount you get in the package. they are a reputable brand, and I checked menards before getting these and they wanted $20 for 4 of them Read more

Bought to use for moving dresser.The dresser legs kept sliding off the disc's. Ended up using bottle caps off my vitamins. Once placement was done. I put the disc under the legs so it wouldn't scratch flooring. Read more
