Impressive. The exposed woofer is not a gimmick. This thing bumps. I purchased the speaker with my classical music in mind, and I am more than satisfied with the sound quality. There is a noticeable difference when using Dynamore when playing classical music. Both modes sound really good and I switched between the two before selecting Dynamore for my classical music. The regular mode sometimes offers better clarity on vocals, like with opera music, and sometimes there is not much of a difference between the two. I played some bass heavy old school hip hop and bass heavy rock. The woofer was put to good use. Very easy to use. I haven’t tested the battery life yet, but so far I trust the quality. It took me seeing my new speaker again the next day for me to realize how small it is, because it bumps and it seemed slightly bigger out of the box. Nice weight and feel. Solid build. Would definitely buy one again. Read more

Great small speaker and a great price! I've needed something portable, loud, and easy to use and this is it. It pairs so easily using Bluetooth. I only wish the bass was a bit deeper. Maybe the next version can have an enhanced bass button or equalizer. Read more

This little speaker does a good job reproducing music, but if you want to listen to podcasts or news, speech is a bit muddy due to unecessary bass. The audio spectrum necessary for understanding speech is quite a bit different from what you want for music or sound effects, so it would be nice if there were some sort of spectrum control in this speaker. There is a button on the back that makes some sound adjustment, but the effects of that on music or speech are not significant in my opinion. It would be much more productive to have that little button switch to an audio spectrum that is better for speech. Connectivity and battery life are not a problem. It is compact and makes pretty big sound for a small package. I like the styling. Read more

This speaker looks and sounds amazing! I’ll highlight some things that others haven’t mentioned in reviews. The two full range drivers angle outward, creating a large soundstage and some stereo separation, which is very unique of a speaker this size. It almost sounds like 2 separate speakers! The sound fills the room very well. I compared it to highly regarded Bluetooth speakers of similar size (uboom L, minirig 3) and the fender sounds so much bigger. Additionally, the fender sounds very natural, balanced and accurate. This is my current go-to speaker for indoor listening…the sound signature is very enjoyable. The speaker has a 1/4” tripod/go pro style mount on the bottom. I’m not aware of any other similar speaker that has this. One quirky thing about this speaker…it is very sensitive to placement. Example, it sounds too boomy if you place it in a corner, or the midrange sounds too boxy if you place it on a table. My solution is to use a short tripod mounted to the bottom (I use a small manfrotto brand tripod, see pic). This really makes the speaker sounds its best, plus the setup looks pretty cool. Outdoor it sounds fine, but I think it really shines indoors low to moderate volumes. If you want something louder or with deeper bass, you need a bigger speaker. I’d recommend the Earfun uboom x for this. I think one fender rockster go (on a tripod) and one Earfun uboom x (use the Oluv equalizer settings in the app) is the ideal portable speaker collection for most people… and it costs just a little over $200 total if you can get them on sale. The special dynamore stereo enhancing button sounds pretty cool for certain genres, mainly ones without vocals (EDM, jazz, soundscapes, instrumentals) but it really alters the sound of most music too much for me, so I usually just keep it off. A few other things…the USB C charging input also functions as an audio input, but I have not used this feature yet. The battery life is superb. The handle on the back is kinda weird, I haven’t found a good use for it yet. There is a power save mode (hold first and last buttons until it beeps) that basically reduces bass, maybe useful if you are just playing background music for a long time. Overall, this speaker is one of the best choices for a small portable Bluetooth speaker. I say this having heard most of the competitors (Bose, jbl, UE, Sony, tribit, marshall, soundcore/anker, and many more). Read more

For what it is, this is a wonderful portable unit. After setting up the EQ on your iPhone, the music will expand with variety and richness. The “booster” button makes a big and pleasing difference in richness of tones. For under $100, it can’t be beat. Easy to set up and use, it’ll fill a room with clear sound. Read more
