This hat is warm, and the band is comfortable. There's enough material in the hat to adjust it however I'd like, especially over the ears for chillier weather. The heather color is soft and pretty. All that is great. However, it just looks odd mainly because the beret projection at the center of the hat is too large - it's much larger than in the descriptive picks. So it sticks out too far, and with the heather color and the stitching it looks....a little too lifelike. I put the hat on to show one of my young adult daughters and she started to laugh and said "absolutely not". We had a laugh, but it's unfortunate because otherwise the hat is great! I got a couple other opinions and everyone had the same comment. I looked to see if I could stitch the projecting part down, but I don't think that would help, so ultimately I returned the hat.
