The idea of this thing is amazing, but it is so buggy and has all of these gimmicky things about it that don’t work anyway. I’ve had the hard reset this thing three times and the last time it won’t reset at all. Every time the battery will get low. It would not charge. I shouldn’t have to search the Internet for troubleshooting for a toothbrush. It should also not have so many firmware updates that you as the consumer have to seek out in order to make this very very very expensive toothbrush work. I can’t imagine gifting this to someone older who wouldn’t have a clue how to troubleshoot this TOOTHBRUSH! Can't say enough good things about this toothbrush! Easy to get the hang of, rechargeable, makes my mouth feel great. The app integration is really impressive too. This was an investment for me, but so are cavities 😞 I am happy to pay for a toothbrush that does an awesome job like this one and not have to get another cavity again. Concept is cool, out of the box it didn't work because of the app. I am stuck on the wifi network selection screen but nothing pops up even though I have a strong and stable connection. Since I cannot connect to wifi with the brush it's just a brick that vibrates. Its too expensive to be useless like this, I would also like to add that since I cannot complete start up due to this issue with the wifi, I only get a "connect this device" screen. I can't even tell if the brush (brick at this point) is even charging or if the battery is low. This thing is almost $300 and your telling me that it has NO stand alone functionality unless you can get past the terrible setup process? If you're reading this, don't buy currently, its a nice concept with terrible execution. Read more
