As a professional hairstylist of 30 years, I absolutely love this blow dryer!! It’s so amazing! The buttons are in perfect placement for your hands. The magnetic attachments are great and stay in place. It’s very powerful but, drys my hair so fast. Incredible. I’m going through menopause and my hair has been thinning, I actually look forward to using this blow dryer. It makes my hair so voluminous and sooo soft. I’m always worried about damaging my hair. This is a great blow dryer for everyone. Just buy it. You won’t regret it. Also, I have carpal tunnel as a result of being a hairstylist for all of my life and this is so light weight and so easy to use. I will say…it took me a couple of days to fully get used to it. Dyson quality and performance at a great price. The magnetic attachments stay on super well and even the filter cover is magnetic (it’s a regular twist and click on a Dyson). Very powerful, heats up very fast, easy to hold and use for long periods of time since it’s so light. Read more

This hair dryer is quieter than my old one. No high pitch motor buzzing. Just lots of air. Dries my hair a little faster than my other dryer, saving me 3-4 minutes maybe. This has 3 settings-no heat, high heat, and ultra high heat. I find the medium (high heat) to be comparable or slightly cooler than the hottest setting on my old dryer. I’m afraid I would damage my hair in the hottest setting. Really does a nice job straightening my hair without frizzing it. I have curly hair, so straightening takes a little effort. I bought this model because it comes with a deeper diffuser, which I need for making my hair curly. There really isn’t an appreciable difference between high and low air settings, so this was going to be a good test. I am pleased to say the diffuser did a great job creating curls in my hair. The air was diffused enough to do the job. Again, I used the medium heat setting for this where I would normally use a high heat setting. A cool shot button would be nice on this model, as flipping between warm and cold is too much button pushing for me. So I dried curly with the warm, then hit everything with the cold. That worked. One other note, when I first turned the dryer on a few times, it automatically reset to the cold heat. After using the dryer a couple times to dry my hair, it now turns on to the warm setting. Might be my imagination. And for those that say the noise level is the same, you can’t judge as the user because it is right next to your ear. It is the other people in the vicinity of the dryer that can tell you it’s definitely quieter. I give this dryer a thumbs up for drying straight AND curly hair. Read more

I paid $80+/- for this when I bought it just a year ago. It was fantastic for the first nine months and felt worth it. But at that 9 month point, suddenly air flow was reduced, it started making a noise as if something was blocking airflow and there was nothing identifiable after multiple filter cleanings and investigation. Today, 13 months later, it’s a piece of junk and I’m going to have to spend MORE money to get a new hair dryer. Guess I will go back to a $30 or less Conair that will last more than a year (2+). Do better “Fentgo”. I see at least you’ve dropped the price - guess you figured out it is a lousy sub for the Dyson. Read more
