I love this! This smells great, is easy to apply and spread, and washes off easily and quickly without drying out my hands. The pump is easy to use on this (not tough to push down), and it dispenses the perfect amount of soap for the average handwash in one pump or less. The soap smells like all the ingredients listed, but I would say that the strongest elements, and the ones whose scents cling to the hand after rinsing, are definitely the thyme and orange/citron. The scent is very strong on the hands after rinsing, and fades slowly with time until it becomes a close skin scent. I could still smell it on my hands hours later though -- it definitely lives up to the brands "parfumier" name. It isn't drying/irritating (great, considering I have sensitive skin!) or overly moisturizing/clingy -- a good, neutral soap that cleans your hands and smells great. The bottle is sizeable and looks good on my countertop. It's a plastic bottle that is very dark and a bit opaque, but has enough transparency that you can easily see how much soap is inside by holding it up to the light. Overall, I think this is an excellent soap, and good value considering the quantity, quality, and the long-lasting perfume-like scent. I've gotten the balm and perfume from this brand before, and will say that this brands scents are unique -- maybe not for everyone, but personally, I love them, and would recommend giving them a chance! 5 stars from me! This soap is excellent overall. The biggest standout to me is how amazing it smells. It has a wonderful blend of citrus/floral/herbal notes. It smells really good and it’ll make your hands smell really good. It also smells natural not artificial. The soap itself works good, I don’t feel like the lather is anything crazy but it works well. It gets my hands feeling clean and moisturized without causing me any irritation or dryness. My biggest gripe with the product is that for a luxury soap I would expect a glass bottle and a nicer feeling pump. The bottle is flimsy plastic instead. My husband and I both work outdoors and get all kinds of actual dirt on our hands. I also love to cook from scratch, and we have two dogs; when you add all that up, the sum is a LOT of hand washing and a lot of hand soap. I'm always looking for hand soaps that won't dry out my skin, and I love essential oils, so this one seemed like a good fit. This soap can be used on both hands and whole body, and after I first smelled it, I knew it would end up in my shower rather than just on my sink. I love essential oils and refreshing botanical scents, so the blend of rosemary, citrus, and lavender are instantly uplifting to me. This soap comes out with a creamy gel texture, and has very minimal lather or bubbles, kind of like castile soap. It cleans really well, even under fingernails and on hands that have spent all day in the garden, and it rinses completely with no residue. Despite the "squeaky clean" finish, this feels hydrating rather than drying. The scent reminds me of a natural spa and transforms my shower (or just my hand washing) into a soothing sensory experience. This soap is made in France with organic ingredients; I can feel good about using this frequently and on my whole body. I will definitely order this again. Read more

In this case, it's the stated Hand & Body Soap. The bottle itself states only body cleanser so I decided to try that. I shouldn't have. The soap itself is thin, and does not lather much. It is very herbaceous, with no citrus & very very little lavender to cut it. It's perfectly fine as a hand soap; it isn't for a body soap.
