Much better ergonomics
Cuts through thick nails like a hot knife through butter. The ergonomics are MUCH better than the TRIM toenail trimmer I have been using for years. These have wider opening jaws, are much sharper, and don't have a handle that will pivot unexpectedly. I've only used these once, but I am happy so far. I did apply a liberal amount of light machine/firearms oil to the pivot joint, and worked it for several minutes until it loosened up and moved freely before I actually used it. I am a retired dentist. I would say the quality is similar to Pakistani stainless hinged instruments. Not terrible, but certainly not in the class with German stainless hinged instruments. But for this price, well worth the investment. Read more
