I think everyone should have a kimono jacket in sequins like this at any age. This is a fabulous piece of clothing. The colors are vibrant and sparkly, but it doesn't feel overdone. It's very bright and will look good shimmering from a distance or under lights, if that's what you're aiming for. The sequins when laid flat shimmer in purple, and when they are rubbed in the other direction, they produce the royal blue, so that's how you end up with the swirls. The seams are sewn well and the sequins are perfect (but see below, one small thing). One problem I had is that the sequins got ruffled too much, jostled around in its oversized plastic bag, no tissue paper, unsecured. There's a small two-inch circular spot where I can't get them to conform again (see photo with little blue round spot.) Fortunately, not in an obvious place and blends in with the normal blue sheen; keep in mind when you wear your jacket to be gentle, even if you are going to a rave. The photos show the jacket from different angles so that you can see the edges are well-stitched and the lining is good. Also, it's dry clean only or wipe with a cloth. The black tassels are also sequins and not too ostentatious. I like its classic kimono design. Unlike the beautiful model in their photo, I am 5’3” and wide, but the Sm/Med jacket fits me. We're having a family celebration after several years (outdoors to keep the elders safe) and we're told to dress extremely lively, all ages, or else. This jacket will be perfect. I'd recommend giving one as a gift to a friend or family member who would get a kick out of it. My spouse often gives me a beautiful accessory in a classic gift box with a ribbon and tissue paper. That way when I'm done using it, I have somewhere to store it, so that’s what you should do if you gift this gorgeous piece of shimmery extravagance. Definitely a good value and something fun! Shut up. This is GORGEOUS! The weight is heavy and solid so that it drapes beautifully, and the tassels are even sequined and weighted so they don't tangle. The colors shimmer from blue to pink and absolutely GLITTER! This top is nothing short of stunning. If you're worried about it fitting....don't! I wear a 2x and the small/medium fit me fine. It doesn't fully close in the front so I probably should have sized up, but it still fits great with plenty of room to move. If you're on the fence...jump off of it and into this incredible top. I really enjoy wearing this sequins kimono cardigan, and have gotten so many compliments when I went out, I love the short sleeves and inner lining, so it doesn’t itch or get too hot (for those of us who get over heated easily) It covers and hits just on my hips like I like and if you're trying to go for a more covered look this is the jacket you need. It would pair well with a belt to give that add shine. I haven’t had any sequences come off as I wear, and I would dry clean only for the best protection. Read more
