I have an old tablet with no USB port. No more freezing, buffering YouTube videos due to a weak Wifi signal. I can now watch my downloaded videos hassle free lying in bed with a smaller device and without pulling out the big laptop. This along with my bluetooth speaker puts me in business. Micro-USB basic splitter
I don’t actually use this with a phone, but as a simple splitter, and it does the job well. For example, I have a micro-usb port in my laptop that usually goes unused. Now, with this adapter/splitter, I can use that port as two additional regular USB-A ports — two separate flash drives or a portable SSD and wireless mouse. Pure garbage, look somewhere else.
Not only did this adapter not work, when I tried to unplug the dongle that I inserted the adapter held on to it so hard that pulling the dongle out actually pulled the adapter apart. I am now out the cost of this adapter plus the cost of my dongle in addition to the time I waited for this to arrive, wish I had read the other one start review prior to purchasing as I have now busted a project deadline.
