This window film is everything I hoped for and more! It gives total daytime privacy while still letting in natural light. The mirrored effect looks so sleek from the outside and keeps my home cooler by blocking heat. Super easy to install — just take your time and smooth out the bubbles. It instantly upgraded my windows and gave my space a clean, modern look. Highly recommend this product! Read more

I wanted to try these out for my bedroom, the hottest room in the house, on the 2nd floor and on top of that, it is south facing. Our windows need to be replaced anyway, but that is an expensive task. I put these on, and the room INSTANTLY felt cooler. So they definitely do something. My only complaint is the difficulty in trimming the film once it is on the windows. I had a hard time getting anything to look nice. Looks decent from the outside. But my shades/curtains are always down anyway, so I don't care too much. Because they worked so well, and were not that difficult to apply, (I am a small 5'5 female, and I could do it, the air bubbles aren't difficult to get out, even just with the tool provided, tho, a squeegee would probably be more efficient.) I want to do the rest of the south facing windows. I will need a professional to cut it and trim it because it was very difficult to trim, maybe the utility knife I had was dull? So I recommend the product, but if you want it to look flawless and perfect you may need a professional to trim it and install it meticulously. Overall, if you are thinking about this... GET IT! It really works, I was actually surprised at how well it worked for heat/sunlight. Great product. Wish it came with better tools/cutting/trimming instructions tho... :( AND pro tip, for everyone saying that they don't stick... This is not true. You just have to REALLY clean the windows (I used windex,) before you apply the soapy water on both the windows and film. Read more

Update: I decided to stick with the product. One pane never stuck well but a little bit of scotch tape helps. (See original photos). Our trash pick up is next to the house rather than at the curb. It was unsettling to see people and know they could be looking in. I no longer have this issue. Since I am in SFL the strength of the sun always does some damage to any product exposed to sun. It has reduced the mirror effect slightly. It’s enough that I no longer have night concerns, but I also don’t worry that garbage pick up can see through into my home without staring. I recommend this product for a cheap and easy fix. Original review: First off, this product does everything it says it does. Installation was easy enough. If you have colonial or several smaller panes it’s more difficult only because there’s more measurements and cutting. Figuring out what side is what is difficult because there is only one small tab on the side you remove. So once cut orientation is more work. Sticky notes will make this easier on you. I like this product during the day. You can still see inside if you are close to the windows and squint. My issue is with the reverse effect. You can’t see outside unless you do the same at night. I only did half the windows to block our garbage access area for more privacy. It’s a bit unsettling that I wouldn’t be able to immediately notice a trespasser in the evening or darkness. As long as you’re okay with that it’s a good product. The reverse is noted in the description. I decided to give it a gamble. I may not stick with this product for my intentions. However it’s great to know that removal will be simple as it is just a static cling sheet. Read more

Omg 😱 this work so good it’s just like the picture love it This The most important thing to know in the nighttime, anybody will be able to see inside your house, but in the morning time, it just looked like they’re looking at a mirror so for privacy at night, just put your curtains down or shade Read more

This stuff worked so well to block out the sun from a sun-facing room that otherwise got so warm. Having this up on the windows helped bring the temp down by at least 4 degrees, which made a difference. Privacy/reflection is nice in the day time, but as others mention it doesn’t work well at night if the lights are on inside. Still, it went in easily and quickly, and has stayed up without an issue for months now! Read more

It does work, I can't see anything but the room lights on from the outside during the day. Like a very low light AF picture taken. The silver color looks very natural on the window from the outside as well, very hard to tell there's even a window tint on it in comparison to the other windows without it in my use case. Silver black might be as well as a second choice for blending in well I might go for. Immediately from the first day I used it, you could feel the heat reduction though-out the whole day, most underrated feature I didn't think much of before buying it. The downsides as to why I am tearing this off to replace with a new one though is that it reduces clarity of your window from the inside by about 30%, has a hazzy look to it where the finer details of objects you look at are lost. But more importantly this has a horrible blue color hue from the inside that all the blue light reduction I've done in my room goes to waste from it. You can really feel it hurting your eyes when your whole room has a blue hue to it though out the day. Will be replacing with a silver black to see if the blue hue is replaced with a blacker window as I initially presumed was what a window tint from the inside would look like. Read more
