These gloves fit my smaller female hands perfectly. There is a pull across the bottom to help with size anyway, and I use these for a steampunk themed outfit I wear. I am very happy with the purchase. And no, they are not genuine leather, but have a great look and feel to them. The material is slightly thinner than expected, but very soft and comfortable. I think these gloves are great for the money and for occasional use. A regular use sports person may not think these are sturdy enough, but I actually think they would be quite happy with these. These gloves are by no means perfect, but so far they serve their purpose and are mostly agreeable. Sizing was decent once I bought the correct size, and there isn't an excess of bulk that snags everything and the kitchen sink when I attempt to reach into my pockets. Bear in mind I simply use them as a daily wear accessory, so their purpose for me is purely cosmetic.Even so, so far I can generally wear them all day everyday without discomfort. I'll sometimes find my hands had been sweating a little when I take them off, but I don't really notice it until I do actually take them off. That's also where my biggest complaint lies. I find them such a pain to take off and "reset" to a right-side-out orientation, but I suspect that's more about the type of glove than these gloves specifically. A minor nag to go along with that is that I find the orientation of the snap peculiar, though as someone who spends all day on a computer it's certainly better than in the middle of the underside of the wrist. In terms of design choices, it might be a peculiar thing to single out, but I like the thumb section stitching on the palm. They seem to have taken a slightly different approach than with other gloves very similar to this. While I suppose it's possible some might see this as a flaw / fluke, there's just something about the design choice I find satisfying. Finally, and pay attention to this part... The material is NOT REAL LEATHER. Here's the catch, though: THE DESCRIPTION ALREADY TOLD YOU AS MUCH. PU leather is a form of faux leather. For anyone that hasn't been paying attention, and those simply unfortunate enough to not have come across the word before to be able to learn it, 'faux' means 'fake'. 'Faux', 'pseudo' and 'fake' are all the same thing, interchangeable by context. 'Synthetic' and 'imitation', as well. That doesn't mean the material is bad. In fact I rather prefer PU leather and probably would have avoided these if they even claimed to use real leather. my son loves these. when he first got them they smelt funky, and I think they are fake leather but they are still nice nonetheless. Worth the purchase, they are warm and fit well. especially with the little buttons on the bottom for tightening scale. They are like medium thick, if you grabbed a rose stem you have to really grab it to feel the thorns. We haven't tried to rip them or extensively use them, but I think that just means everyday use is capable. Got them in black, color stays really well and they don’t frail at all. Read more
