I washed & dried these before wearing, as you should everything before you wear it. I didn't detect any shrinkage. Washed regular, warm, with clothes. My feeling is, if they can't take my regular way of use & how I treat stuff, then they're just not going to be around long. These looked sturdy enough for a vasic wash & dry (med-low heat). They're well made, great value, well packaged, nice colors, & arrived quickly! I have to caution some of you...yeah, you with the big noggins, or big hair! I have a small head (6 7/8) & wear a XS or S motorcycle helmet, so it fits SNUG & doesn't move around on my head in the wind. I tell you that because...these fit SNUG. They're almost...a bit TOO snug. But, on the plus side of that, I have curly/wiry shoulder length hair & they mostly keep it in place! So there's that. If you have kids, & don't like how these beanies fit, the kids inherit them. If you don't have kids, the dog might like them. The cats might like a hammock? Donate to someone! (Please wash first; don't be a heathen!) Oh...and they make my forehead itch. I think I may have a bit of an allergy to acrylic! I haven't given up on them yet; they're good beanies, & there's several of them! A great deal/value, all things considered. :) Read more
